At 50, everything seemed to be going well for grizzled sociology professor Vasilis. However, Vasilis is in a slump. Unable to survive the midlife blues, Vasilis quits his otherwise brilliant career, abandons his family, and decides to hole up in his quiet seaside house. And lost in thought, defeated Vasilis is gradually losing his grip on reality. However, one thing keeps Vasilis going: the pale recollection of a young woman in a photo. And Vasilis clearly remembers taking that photograph. Under those circumstances, as the sad-eyed, stone-faced intellectual meanders through the grey, rain-soaked streets of Athens, pressing questions arise. Is the lady real? Above all, where could that beautiful perfect stranger be?
