Elisabeth is a doctor, she is at the head of an Institute against smoking, but she smokes secretly. She is divorced, her daughter Vicky is seventeen, and the daughter tries to have the mother married again. Vicky is in love with JC. The two women are turned out from their house. Elisabeth meets by chance Jean Corti, who is JC's father. They tell each other a lot of lies...
