Vacation in Kolopetinitsa (1959)

Dreaming of turning his humble mountainous village into a luxurious spa town and a pole of attraction, the ambitious president of Kolopetinitsa, Thimios Tamtourlas, isn't afraid to break some eggs in the name of progress. Before long, the first tourists arrive, the lovely newlywed couple from Athens, Tony and Judy, and Thimios starts to believe that his noble aspiration is finally taking shape. However, there is more to the fashionable lovebirds than meets the eye, and Thimios, along with the entire community, are in for a shock. In the end, does crime pay? Will Thimios ever transform Kolopetinitsa into the ultimate tourist destination?
