The Island of Temptation (1961)

At a peaceful small island somewhere in the sparkling Aegean Sea, the isle's pride--the poor and virtuous Lenio--is thrilled to hear that her stalwart fiancé, the struggling fisherman, Konstadis, has set a date for their marriage. However, their dream world will turn upside down, when an Athenian dancer arrives for her summer vacation. Dazzling, accomplished and independent, the talented young artist has everything Lenio has ever dreamt of--and to make matters worse--Konstadis seems mesmerised by the blonde Circe's spell. Are the vague but sour rumours true?
