Unknown Woman of the Night (1970)

On a rainy night of May, orphaned Elisa runs away from home and ends up in the humble atelier of the talented but impecunious sculptor, Alexis. As the beautiful young girl tries to escape from her pained past, little by little, a romantic affair starts to bloom, inspiring Alexis to create, live, and love. However, Elisa is unaware that Alexis, too, has a skeleton in the closet, one in the shape of the seductive femme fatale, Rita, who is bent on keeping her prized possession. Now, distrust takes over. Is there a future for Alexis and Elisa, the unknown woman of the night?
