The Shepherdess' Lover (1955)

As an innocent token of his admiration, the wealthy landlord, Mitros, gives fair Kroustallo a golden cross. However, the beautiful lady is already secretly head-over-heels in love with the impecunious and inexperienced herder, Liakos, who owes his life to Mitros, when, in the past, he had saved him from certain death in the river. Now, this expensive gift sets the stage for bitter conflict between the two men, fanned by Kroustallo's imminent marriage to Mitros. Will sense, and love, prevail?
