The Dead Liquer (1992)

In late-1950s Athens, somewhere in a quiet neighbourhood of Kipseli that is undergoing modernisation, the big sister, Rallou, and her twin brothers have invented a thrilling but delicate game. In complete secrecy, the siblings sneak in the dank and dusty basement of their old bourgeois house where their grandfather used to run a distillery, to perform a strange rite, as damaging rumours and a private scandal permeate the walls of the abandoned and decrepit place. What happened there, and how important is the last and only batch of the rare "Dead Liqueur" to the experimenting adolescents' budding sexuality?
