Prasad reaches his village and finds that there is a statue built of him and everyone believes his dead flashback revels Inamdar family was a respected family in village but their son Shekar is spotlit brat and has many bad habits.Shekar's mother Aaisaheb also considers Parsad as her son and every villager respects him due to his work and nature he is soon to be married to Anju daughter of village Sarpanch.Prasad once helps a drunkard who lives with his blind daughter Suma he starts to frequent their house regularly and provides them required help.Shekar spends a a night with Suma by taking advantage of her blindness while in the village Panchayat Prasad tells that it was he who spent the night with Suma and decides to marry her in order to save name of Inamdar family.But Suma commits suicide after she finds she spent night with a stranger while Shekar beats Prasad and he is termed dead leaving Anju distressed.
