Bed of Grass (1957)

Unappeasable carnal desires inflame the passions when beautiful but despised Agioupa, the illegitimate fruit of a brutal sexual assault, sets foot in a small village nestled in the bosom of the tranquil Greek nature. But, Agioupa is a victim of prejudice, and as a result, the indomitable black-haired nymph soon catches the eye of two lascivious jackals, and fortunately, the community's gentle and compassionate physician. Before long, as inflexible superstition, malicious envy, and pent-up sexual frustration pave the way for violence, blood stains the hands of a sinner. What is the price of not fitting in?
