One man is paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair as a result of a drunk driving car crash.

Plenty of talk about gangs/fighting/violence.

The ending of the film reveals that one of the interviewees was going on trial for killing one of the others.

Lots of cursing/explicit language.

Teenagers begging for change/money insult people that do not acknowledge them/give them anything.

Many people in the film have disgusting habits/means of speaking/etc. that they show no remorse for.

Plenty of drinking, cigarette smoking, and marijuana smoking. These activities are also discussed in detail.

Many of the activities are done by teens.

Many of the interviewees tell stories about coming from homes broken up by drinking/drugs/etc.

The entire premise of the film revolves around homeless teens/runaways looking to survive day to day. Many of them were the victims of abuse, and have been discriminated against for looking different. Deaths are mentioned in the film, including the death of one of the interviewees at the hands of one of the others.

The entire atmosphere is very bleak, yet many of the teens still retain a positive, carefree attitude.
