Eva (1953)

Bored to death, statuesque Eva, a golden-haired femme fatale married to the neglectful, almost twice-her-age businessman, Alekos, is suffocating in her small island. Then, the young and handsome architect student, Antinoos, who spends his summer vacation in the fishing village, catches Eva's eye, and just like that, an unexpected whirlwind romance that defies logic commences. More and more, the clandestine lovers feel the insufferable burden of passion and sin crushing them; however, desire knows no boundaries. Now, there is no turning back, and both Eva and Antinoos must make up their minds. Are they willing to risk everything in the name of a youthful, all-consuming but doomed summertime affair?
