Captain Sirocco (1953)

Captain Sirocco, a grizzled, middle-aged seaman, is convinced that he is an experienced navigator. As a result, he never misses an opportunity to recount his accomplishments and his exciting adventures in the four corners of the earth to his curious audience, always keeping in mind to seamlessly mix half-truths and half-lies. Of course, no one believes the otherwise good-natured man, who, without an ounce of shame, keeps enumerating his incredible stories. But, under those circumstances, only a female companion could talk some sense to the incorrigible storyteller. Will Captain Sirocco find the woman of his dreams?
