Chaleurs d'été (1959)

Robert is a young promising writer .He comes to the south of France to get his uncle's inheritance .In a casual atmosphere , the young man feels disoriented,in this vineyards region,at the approach of the grape harvest.A young maid,Magali,comes to take care of his house.This girl belongs to an old ruined family whose decadence began with the loss of their lands.So Magali urges her employer to keep his late uncle's vineyard.But Nina,the innkeeper's daughter from the village, an unscrupulous girl,tries to seduce the owner.
