Musicians of Heaven (1940)

Victor is a two-bit hoodlum .One day when he is pretending to be blind to beg for some money,he meets a Salvationist (lieutenant!) .He falls for her and becomes her assistant. Soon he wears the Salvation Army uniform too. There's a colorful character in the charitable organization,captain Simon, who tells the prodigal son's tale in his own way: Victor redeems his soul and love might find a way . But TB strikes the beautiful lieutenant .
