Astero (1959)

Astero, the beautiful step-daughter of the wealthy landlord, Mitros, falls head-over-heels in love with his handsome young son, Thimios. However, Mitros has other plans in store for his precious only son, intent on marrying him off to the affluent shepherdess Maro. Then, the self-assured chief-herder, Thanos, catches a glimpse of Astero in the river, and just like that, decides to make her his wife, complicating further the already tangled situation. Now, Astero is on the brink of insanity, and only true love can set her free. Will Astero and Thimios fulfil their youthful dreams together?
