Demons (1971)

An exiled samurai, Gengobe Satsuma, is cast out by his own brothers in arms. To regain his place alongside them to fight against the Shogunate, he must aquire the hefty sum of 100 ryo to pay off his acceptance. But, at the same time, Gengobe is in love with a greedy geisha called Koman. When she is about to be sold to another man, he finds out that he must also pay 100 ryo to keep her. He must choose between love and duty, or fall prey to a plot lurking in the shadows.
