Once Is Enough (1946)

It's the story of a Christine,a sculptor,who does not necessarily need men .She has got a pet horse,called Nicolas.Jacques falls in love with her ,but he thinks she has a lover (Nicolas!).All the story revolves around this case of....mistaken identity.When the death of Nicolas Van Houten ,a patron,is announced in the press,she pretends she is in mourning.Nevertheless,Van Touten has been murdered and Jacques suspects her lover of being the culprit.
