Poka grom ne gryanet (1991)

A few months before the collapse of the USSR, villages and collective farms are facing problems: young and working-aged people are leaving the countryside for better life in the cities. A collapsing collective farm near Moscow has the same problem: the only mechanic and harvester driver decides to leave his home village because he feels deeply offended by being severely punished for the harvester breaking down; but his countrymen disagree with his decision and try to prevent his escape.
