Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (1997)

After the death of a dear friend, Shinji is left emotionally shattered, while his father races against time to complete his plan to use the Evangelion Unit-01 to return humanity to its original state before SEELE can carry out their own plans. Not long after, NERV headquarters is invaded by SEELE, and Asuka and Misato do what they can to prevail before everything is destroyed. This two-part film was created due to the mixed reception of the finale of the original anime.
