Bongolo (1952)

Bongolo , a black male nurse ,returns to his African village with the white men's health organization.He makes friends with a young native, Doka,and tries to fight her superstitious mind.He succeeds ,but the other people from the place forces him to run away.Doka joins him in the hospital where he works,but the police take her back to her village where her father forces her to marry a "prince" from her tribe.During the ceremony ,the young girl escapes again.
