Towering over four decades of Danish culture, Klaus Rifbjerg's works have been admired and despised, hated and critically acclaimed. A television crew followed Klaus Rifbjerg for half a year in 1989 to capture the author, the private man, the publisher, the hunter, the friend ... and the life cheater. Not so much a portrait as an exploration of the mental landscapes that Rifbjerg's literature is made of.
