Dick Jurgens and His Orchestra (1952)

This "Name Band Musical" spotlights the Dick Jurgens Orchesta opening with "Day Dreams Come True at Night" followed by "Mama's Gone Goodbye." A Cuban act, the Facundo Rivero Quintet comes on with "Majarete." Band vocalists Claudette Thornton and Al Galante duets on "The Pushcart Serenade," and the Rivero Quintet returns with "Machucando." The finale has the Jurgens' Band playing "Canadian Capers" while a dance team, The Robinsons, perform a few interpretations.
