Real-life rapper-turned-actor GQ (ON THE LINE, DRUMLINE) writes and stars in his directorial debut as an aspiring white rapper torn between the carefree party lifestyle of his close-knit group of friends and the difficult work of creating a successful music career. Set during one pivotal weekend in the life of the New York City youth, GQ's hip-hop musical eschews the typical urban-drama formula for a breezy slice-of-life vibe.
