The Box (2009)

The story follows Norma and Arthur, a married couple with a 9-year-old son who one day receive an unexpected visit from a man with a disfigured face. He offers them a box with a button inside that, when pressed, gives them a million dollars. Simultaneously, that action causes someone unknown to them to die, triggering a spiral out of their control. A very peculiar, yet entertaining psychological thriller, with a great cast and the direction of Richard Kelly, director of "Donnie Darko" (2001).
