Twenty years ago, Mrs Hwang was deserted by her husband when he ran off with another woman. Reveling in her new-found freedom, Mrs Hwang went to the US and studied law--eventually starting her own practice. Now, however, the woman who stole her husband stands accused of killing him and requests that Mrs Hwang defend her.
