The 4400 (2004)

There is an intense but brief sex scene in season 2 episode 4. Their nude bodies are shown.

Some episodes contain scenes showing couples in bed together, usually after implied sex. The third episode of the first season has a scene with men attempting to rape a girl in a park at night. Everyone is fully clothed, but one of the men is positioned for sex with the girl. The third season features an ongoing sexual relationship between two characters, and there are a number of scenes throughout the season showing the young woman in her lingerie.

Moderate sci fi gore-- bleeding eyeballs etc. Add bullets to the forehead, bloody multiple bullet chest wounds, a repeated stabbing (with blood). No spatters etc, but still several episodes contain significant blood.

Violence and blood increases as series continues, especially seasons 3 & 4.
