The Young Runaway (1968)

In broad daylight, the bold preadolescent boy, Alexis, plucks up the courage to escape from the hideous reformatory. Bent on reuniting with his estranged mother, Rita, in Athens, Alexis will find refuge in the secluded summer villa of the compassionate little girl, Maria, and her older brother, Nikos, while in the meantime, the police are combing the area for clues of his whereabouts. Will Alexis, the young runaway, ever find his mother?
