The Red Daisy (1990)

For years, Alekos, the conscientious manager of the intravenous products department of the Red Daisy Pharmaceutical Company, has been slaving away for peanuts, having no prospects for the future. Then, out of the blue, financial crisis breaks out, and Alekos, for fear of being falsely accused of sabotage, decides to resign from the firm in protest of the unfair treatment. Now, jobless and rudderless, Alekos has all the time in the world to re-evaluate his life, and as a result, a chance encounter with Lina, a beautiful photographer and talented actress, paves the way for an exciting new career as the general factotum of a small theatrical troupe. However, is this what Alekos truly wants?
