Bande (1986)

Based on the novel by D. Hemmet "Glass Key". On the eve of the senate elections, the head of the large trust Paul Medvig, the leader of the city mafia, is doing everything to re-elect his man - Senator Henry. However, the unexpected murder of the senator's son confuses Medwig's cards: his employee, formerly a private investigator, Ned Beaumont, returns to the old craft - and undertakes to investigate this case, with clear grounds to consider Henry to be the murderer himself.
