When the Greeks (1981)

In early 1900s Greece, a team of bandits abducts a young bourgeois man. As the group takes shelter in the mountains, waiting for his well-off family to pay the ransom, the captive gradually forms an unexpected bond with his captors, realising the need to bridge the gap between the urban philosophy and the popular culture and beliefs.
