The Pontians (1986)

Bosom buddies, Giorikas and Kostikas, a pair of inseparable Pontian-Greeks, work their fingers to the bone in the bleak coal mines of Germany to create a better future for their families. After many years of back-breaking work, the friends decide to return to Greece, only to realise that the proud Pontians are a laughing stock. To find out who circulates the jokes and right a wrong, Kostikas and Giorikas chase new leads in high hopes of solving the case. But who is behind the sinister conspiracy?
