Runaway Jury (2003)

A widow files a lawsuit against a gun manufacturer and the defense closely monitors the jurors of the trial. In doing so, they employ manipulative maneuvers to secure an outcome, but it escapes them that one of the jurors, Nick Easter, has his own agenda. In addition, a mysterious woman, Marlee, makes both sides a tentative offer to buy the final verdict. A film that slowly unveils its layers, with great performances by John Cusack, Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman and Rachel Weisz.
