CCTV (Cameromania) (2004)

A video camera goes from hand to hand and records, whenever it wants, the lives of the people that hold it. From Greece it will reach the borders of Pakistan and witness the events in Genova, it will cross over to Spain and will end up in the hands of an Italian student in England. Short or long journeys that will meet in an original Odyssey, where truth and lies, existence and appearance, life and memories become one, an integrated image that we "control" but will never feel safe against. Vassilis Katsikis brings us against Close Circuit TV, which we have allowed to enter our homes before it officially settles in public life in the form of surveillance cameras.
