Children are in a hospital - one coughs up blood. Bloody sheets imply that the child has died.

A very young child asks for whiskey and is later shown drinking from a paper bag.

Men have a conversation while drinking from paper bags and are clearly intoxicated on alcohol or drugs.

Young people are shown approaching a car's gas tank with a hose, later there is mention of using gasoline to get high.

A child is removed from their home and taking to a hospital then a residential school. No violence is shown, but mistreatment is implied - children stand in a lineup shivering under pressure to turn in one who has tried to escape.

A man speaks about past injustice towards aboriginal people - several people are shown crying.

A woman is shown chained to a railing as government officials remove her child to be placed into a foster home. She chases their car, crying.
