Ágis tragédiája (1971)

Leonidas used to be just one among them. They fought together, everyone was equal. These days Leonidas is the king, and no longer the same. Other Spartans are indebted, lost their land, and now the king wants to make them sell as slaves. The people rebel against him under the leadership of Ágis, whose best friend, Kleombrotés married the king's daughter. Ágis makes a deal with Leonidas, and send the Spartans home, stay alone against the king's soldiers.
