El rastrojero, utopías de la Argentina potencia (2006)

One of the most popular vehicles in Argentina, from another Argentina. Eduardo travels in his truck Rastrojero to the province of Cordoba that fifty years ago he used it in IME (Mechanical Industries of the State) and towards the meeting with his colleagues of that time. With important archival material and interviews with the protagonists of a production epic remote in time, and often in social memory, this film evokes a stage of industrial development and work. The course of the IME factory strips the process of loss of industry suffered by Argentina during the last fifty years. Personal stories that are interspersed with collective stories and social conflicts in a skein difficult to unravel because of the commitment that the Rastrojero project meant for those who participated in it.
