The Bloody Mantle (1960)

Chryssavgi, the beautiful blonde daughter of a wealthy landowner and the village's president, is in love with Kiriakos, an honest but poor young man. Knowing that her strict and old-fashioned father would never give his consent to marry him, Chryssavgi and Kiriakos decide to elope and start anew somewhere far away from their birthplace. However, a spiteful woman has already discovered the well-hidden secret of the clandestine lovers, and, as one thing leads to another, Stavros, the evil nephew of the president, devises a plan to put an end to Chryssavgi and Kiriakos' dream, in exchange for a plot of land. And, before long, blood stains his hands. Is this the end of the persecuted lovers' happiness?
