A Volta do Regresso (2007)

An aspiring director, son of a former actress and chorus girl, convinces a veteran film professional to produce his first feature, a weird adaptation of "King Lear" contaminated by different cultural references (from Brazilian Carnival to Hollywood classic movies). For the leading part, he chooses a long-forgotten star of sexploitation movies in the 1970s.
