A Soldier's Peace (2008)

"A Soldier's Peace" delineates the history and challenges of war protesting through the story of Sgt. Marshall Thompson, an Iraq War veteran turned peace activist. He overcomes government intimidation, physical hurdles and stereotypes as he walks 500 miles for peace in Utah, the most hawkish state in the nation. The result is a surprisingly touching story of free speech in the United States.
