From his youth in the Adelaide suburb of Semaphore to his reign as one of South Australia's longest-serving television personalities, Kevin Crease's life and times are remembered in this tribute special. Crease began his television career with NWS Channel 9 after being spotted selling raincoats in the Adelaide city area, would compere its first program Clarkson's TV Hostess Quest (1959), go on to appear on shows like Adelaide Tonight (1959), and eventually become one South Australia's most trusted news presenters. Friends and colleagues, including his co-anchor for twenty-years, Rob Kelvin, former NWS personalities Lionel Williams and Anne Wills, its first general manager Bill Davies, and South Australian premier Mike Rann share stories about Crease. Hosted by Keith Conlon, with footage from Crease's more than forty-year career in television.
