Dill, California (2007)

One day in the small town of Dill, California finds Runner Dell trying to break up with his girlfriend Evelyn. When he confronts her at the diner where she works, a phone call from a friend alerts him that Evelyn is instead expecting a marriage proposal. A day of seeking life advice from his friends takes a turn when Runner's ex comes to town to entice him back, and Evelyn makes a play for best friend Shane. Runner's search leads him to seek out his estranged father for advice who lives in an abandoned bus. The long day comes to a climactic finish as Runner races against time to make it to the local playhouse, which is performing the town play "American Dill." There's no telling which girl he'll end up with, or if he'll miss the play and lose them both.
