Eureka Seven - good night, sleep tight, young lovers (2009)

During a flashback, numerous characters are seen lying naked in what appears to be a crater. Most of the characters are face down, so only buttocks are visible. The camera zooms out to show more people, some lying on their backs, but nothing too revealing is visible from that distance.

During a conversation, government investigators speculate that a man known for running an orphanage may have actually been a pedophile who took in refugee children for sexual purposes.

A young girl has the back of her dress ripped open. It is implied that an onlooker believes it to be rape and intervenes. No explicit nudity is seen.

In the very last scene, the main girl is completely naked. However, she is usually seen from the waist up and her hair tends to cover her breasts. Her bare chest is briefly visible, but no nipples can be seen.

Throughout the movie, there are frequent close-ups of a book with a classical painting of a naked girl on the cover, although only one breast is visible.

All of the nudity in the film is very brief and none of it is in a sexual context.

A girl in the movie has some of her skin burned off by sunlight on two occasions.

The first battle has the most detailed violence in the entire movie. In it, large floating creatures move through a city, one conjures up a dark sphere that destroys part of a building where people were inside. Another one of these creatures is impaled on large sai-like weapons and then ripped in half, spewing blood onto the creature's would-be victims. Another of the creatures is shot point-blank by a laser beam and thrown through a building, prior to exploding into a bloody mess.

Most fights involving the robots have robots being pulled apart, shot with lasers, or cut by blades, and most of them explode after taking damage.

A young boy is shot in the abdomen. It isn't seen directly but the gunshot is heard and the boy is seen lying down with a trail of blood from his stomach.

Two characters are crushed against a wall by a robot component. The character's bloody limbs (still attached) can be seen protruding from behind the piece of the robot.

The character that was shot is seen later with a large blood stain on his shirt.

A very powerful weapon is fired, creating an explosion resembling a nuclear blast that creates enoemous tidal waves. It is implied that most of the planet is covered by the tidal waves.

There are two versions of the film in regard to profanity - the English dubbed version and the English subtitled version.

Subtitled Version: The f-word is used three times, along with many more mild profanities.

Dubbed Version: There are no f-words. 1 use of "bullshit", along with uses of other words such as "hell", "damn", "bastard", "ass", and "bitch".

Certain characters take a drug that is supposedly an immortality drug, the effects of which only last a week, therefore it is implied that the drug is used a lot by these characters. However, there are no signs of it being addictive. If anything, the use of it appears to be a chore for the characters.

It is a little disturbing when the young girl has some of her face burned by the sun as she is heard screaming in pain.

The strange creatures in the first fight aren't very scary in appearance but are very creepy. One at first appears to be a ball, but it opens up to reveal a large mouth full of teeth.

Fights between KLFs (robots) are intense as some perform extremely fast and complicated maneuvers and some only attack with sword-like weapons, making the battles up-close at times.

The enemy "control center" is seen as a red orb at the center of some scary-looking spike-shaped protrusions.
