Geet Gate Indrayani (1992)

Rukmani Kulkarni gets married to Vithal Pant, but shortly after the marriage she finds out that he is not interested in married life, abandons her and adapts a life of a celibate Sanyasi in Kashi. Her father accompanies her to plead with him to return. They approach his Guru, who admonishes Vithal and instructs him to return to Rukmani, which he does. They live together harmoniously and become parents of three boys, Nivruti, Gyandev, and Sopan, and a girl, Mukta. Problems arise when the Village Panchayat shuns them as they are children of a former Sanyasi, and both Rukmani and Vithal must undergo a penalty that will change will the entire family's lives forever.
