July 31st 2006 became a historic date for Mexico. Ignoring the results of the last presidential election, Andrés Manuel López Obrador organized the blocking of 12 kilometers of one of the most important avenues in Mexico City. During months, protests across the city put the country in jeopardy. These are the testimonies of the ordinary people involved in this historic protest.
