One Last Smile is based on a true story of a 19-year old college student whose life was taken away too young, too soon. Taarna Wiltsie was not only an aspiring journalist, but she was intelligent and independent. Passionately wanting to be with her family and loved ones over the Thanksgiving holiday, she journeyed hundreds of miles to see them but never reached her destination. From one student to another, Taarna's story has touched numerous hearts and inspired many.
