Masks (2009)

Masks is a moving story about an American bachelor who lives on a remote island off Hong Kong thereby escaping his privileged life he once knew. He is devoted to a secret passion to help deal with his loneliness. His life is interrupted by the unexpected and unwanted arrival of his 12 year old orphaned nephew who was abandoned by his mother when he was a baby. Having no other relative to look after him in USA, after his grandmother's death, his uncle is asked to receive him. A mutual pain from the past could destroy or unite them.
