Tzevas, a sworn bachelor endowed with wealth, is the ideal mate. But there's a catch: Tzevas is an uncultured man who's never read a book. As a result, worried Uncle Menelaos organises a meeting with Varvara, a refined potential wife, hoping that Tzevas won't blow it with his too-cool-for-school attitude. Unfortunately, a leopard never changes its spots. However, they say opposites attract. And when an ambitious suitor enters the equation, Tzevas must get his act together.
