Porwanie Europy (2009)

A documentary about the phenomenon of mid - war Warsaw - a city which focused in itself everything that Europe won in 1918 and then lost in 1939. It is a story of the endeavor undertaken by new, reforged in the fires of WWI, democracies to construct a new order of things, new society and new breed of men. A tale of the fight for a better world and it is hopes and dreams that were extinguished by the birth of nationalism and it is tendencies which ultimately led to WWII.
