For more than 77 of her 98 years, Dr. Dorothy Height had been a champion of many causes and a role model for social workers, nurses and other human service professionals. This film commemorates her outstanding legacy, one that guided many professionals, as well as African American communities, women and the nation at large. It highlights the beneficiaries of her life work and is a tribute to her legacy of caring and social, humanitarian and political activism.
