All violence is used in a slapstick nature, however still holds clear violent connotations.
The Baraka sequence shows the character with blood all over him along with a narrating description of how he kills his victims. The viewer sees the weapons of use with blood, however does not actually see them in use.
On the Alicia intro, you hear the sound of a glass being smashed. During the sound you see a man fall to the floor, implying he has been glassed in the face. The camera closes in on the broken glass to show a slight dripping of blood.
In the Carlos intro sequence, the viewer sees the character pouring petrol over a man and flicking a cigarette in his direction. It cuts away to Carlos's face where you can see the reflection of a flame in his face and the sound of the man being burned alive. This is not actually shown.
Most the the scenes work to the above method. The only scene where more violence is used is in the 'Alicia V Carlos' sequence, which shows Alicia supposedly stabbing numerous amounts of people and blood flying into her face, however no victims are actually shown. The sequence runs on top of some music.
